Burton based roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles is congratulating four employees for successfully completing a Leadership and Management (ILM) Course.
Russell Roof Tiles is the largest independent manufacturer of concrete derivates in the UK pitched roofing market and employs approx. 150 staff including around 90 at two sites in Burton on Trent.
Four members of the Production Management team at Burton on Trent have successfully passed their Apprenticeship on Team Leader or Supervisor Level 3.
The successful ILM Graduates are Andy Iliff, Assistant Works Manager who received pass; Kirby Charlesworth, Trainee Manager who received a Merit and Otto Mathiesen, Maintenance Manager and Sean Rogers, Production Supervisor who both received the top Distinction grade.
The Team Leader or Supervisor Apprenticeship is suitable for individuals who are working in a first line management role. Key responsibilities may include: supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects and planning and monitoring workloads and resources.
Training was supplied via Access Training (East Midlands) Ltd and the four started pre-Covid and continued to work through it during lockdown, working remotely. Each employee received a certificate and digital credential.
