City living developers are more focused on comfort, convenience and community in the wake of the pandemic, a prominent architect has said.
Lockdown has highlighted the importance of having vibrant communities and a wide range of amenities within walking distance, said Robert Bentley, director at Nottinghamshire-based Benoy.
"Now more people are working from home, what they want from their living environment has changed," he said. "This means amenities and shared spaces need to be attractive. As a result, residential developers are looking at bigger units and better provisions."
