Leading developer Barratt Homes is celebrating the success of one of its Site Managers in the West Midlands following their nomination as a finalist in this year’s Construction Manager of the Year awards.
Ian Green (53) has been listed as a finalist in the annual awards presented by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and the developer is hoping to see him come out on top in the “Accommodation over four storeys” category.
Earlier this year, Ian was awarded his twelfth Pride in the Job award from the National House Building Council (NHBC). As well as his this, he has also received nine Seal of Excellence accolades, and two Regional awards. His most recent awards are for his work at B5 Central in Birmingham.

The Construction Manager of the Year Awards is celebrating its 43rd year, and aims to acknowledge and highlight the achievements of those who deliver projects and buildings to extraordinary standards, and make a positive impact on the lives of the people who use them.
77 of the very best Construction Managers in the UK have been named in the shortlists for 10 categories. Each category winner will win a gold and silver medals at the awards ceremony taking place in London on 29th September.
The finalists will be whittled down on the night to one gold medal winner for each category, with an overall winner for Construction Manager of the Year, and recipient of the 2021 trophy.
