Worksop expansion plans for electrical firm

NSM has let a 1,770 sq ft unit at the Shireoaks Networkcentre on Coach Crescent in Worksop to Danlec Electrical Solutions Ltd.

Established in 2010 by Dan Lambert, Danlec has fast-grown into six teams of qualified electricians and electrical apprentices. Due to the rapid expansion, the company is taking on the additional space at Shireoaks.

Dan Lambert, director of Danlec Electrical Solutions Ltd, explains: “Our existing premises in Worksop were too small, particularly as we had recently recruited additional team members. Shireoaks Networkcentre is well located for our staff and customer base and also has two electrical wholesalers on the site.

“The convenience this offers, as well as the great office and storage space and ample parking, was perfect and it will also provide the opportunity for further expansion.”

Shireoaks Networkcentre provides 10 industrial units totalling 27,529 sq ft providing a range of space for start-ups, growing companies and those needing extra secure and well-connected logistics space. Located on Shireoaks Triangle, near junction 31 of the M1, the centre is within easy reach of Sheffield and the East Midlands. The site offers 24/7 secure access. Only two sites remain available offering 3,540 and 2,650 sq ft of workspace.

The site is managed by NSM which secured the recent lettings. Rebecca McDonald, Property & Asset Manager at NSM, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Danlec Electrical Solutions to the Shireoaks business community and it is great to see companies on the site working together. We have seen strong demand as the workspace offer flexible, secure space and great access to the M1. With only two units remaining at the site and strong interest I’m sure the Networkcentre will soon be fully let, particularly with the recent surge in online retail.”
