A Derby city centre site which has planning permission for a 44-bed student scheme has been sold.
Pearl Developments has bought the land on Slack Lane in the city, in a deal brokered by BB&J Commercial. The site has planning consent for the new student development, which compromises 44 rooms split into nine apartments, over three floors.
Mark Richardson, partner at BB&J, said: “I was absolutely delighted to firstly get a sale agreed on the site within a few days of marketing, and then to get the deal completed within a few short weeks. It has been one of the smoothest transactions I have known. The speed of the deal and all parties’ commitment to seeing it through so quickly
