Nottingham developer Bildurn is set to find out whether it will get the go-ahead to build a 294-bed student accommodation scheme on Huntingdon Street in the city next Wednesday, when the city council’s planning committee sit. (September 22)
If given the go-ahead, the development, designed by Franklin Ellis and called Huntingdon Street Central, will be seven floors in height and, should the scheme receive planning permission, be built on land currently occupied by Archer Accident Group and Halfords.
The plans have been given the backing of the city council’s planning department ahead of the vote nxt week.
While the scheme will require the demolition of four dilapidated buildings, the Archer Accident building, which was formerly Playland Amusements, will have its façade retained and restored as part of
