ROBIN HOOD HALF MARATHON RUNNERS RAISE £3,000 FOR NOTTS COUNTY FOUNDATION

On Sunday 26th September 2021, a total of 25 runners completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon in support of Notts County Foundation – raising over £3,000 for the local charity.

The Notts County Foundation team, which consisted of both staff members and supporters, featured, with Hayden Whitehead recording an impressive time of 1:37:17 and finishing in 285th place.

Sam Crawford, Head of Business Development at Notts County Foundation, said: “We are incredibly thankful and appreciative of all of the amazing runners that took part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon on behalf of Notts County Foundation. Without their support, we wouldn’t have been able to raise this staggering amount of money, which will be put towards the development of our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing programmes and projects across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Josh Breen, a Notts County Foundation runner, said: “First and foremost, I am thrilled to have taken part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon for the first time, and to have completed it in a decent time. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to support Notts County Foundation and play a small part in contributing towards the continuation of their invaluable work across the region.”

Sam added: “Thank you to Goldline Events for organising and facilitating a superb day, and to Frank Cox Limited for supplying our runners with their fantastic bespoke race shirts.”

Notts County Foundation is committed to using the power and diversity of sport to transform the health and wellbeing of local communities.
