Developer starts work on major mixed-use scheme

Hockley Developments, the Nottingham-based developer, has started work on its mixed-use development in Sherwood, which will bring forward a Sainsburys supermarket, a new library as well as a mixture of 1-4 bed houses.

The firm, which is developing several sites in Nottingham, also said it expects to have new sites in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire later this year.
