The first residents have now moved into their homes at Bellway’s Roman Gate development in Melton Mowbray.
Bellway is delivering a total of 217 homes at the site off Leicester Road, as part of a wider scheme to deliver 520 homes in the area.
All of the houses for sale at Roman Gate are from the Artisan Collection, Bellway’s flagship range of house types developed using years of customer feedback and combining the traditional craftsmanship and modern construction techniques.
Both a two-bedroom and a four-bedroom showhome are already open at the site, giving prospective housebuyers at Roman Gate the chance to view two of the house types on offer.

Alongside building the new homes at Roman Gate, Bellway is also providing public open space and a children’s play area.
Roman Gate is part of a wider scheme of 520 homes being delivered by a consortium of housebuilders, which will provide investment of around £6 million into local services and infrastructure.
The contributions include £4.5 million towards road improvements, £530,000 for local education, £500,000 for sustainable transport services and more than £176,000 towards policing.
There’s currently a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses for sale at Roman Gate, with prices starting from £222,000.
