The Tollemache Arms in Harrington has been crowned “Best Traditional Food pub of the Year” by its parent company, Wells & Co in their Pub Partner Awards 2022. These prestigious awards are held once a year by the 140-strong pub company but this is the first time the pubs were able to celebrate in over two years due to the pandemic.
The Best Traditional Food award, sponsored by Brakes, recognises the best of the best within the pub estate. From burgers to fish & chips, who does it best? And as it happens, The Tollemache do. Judges were particularly impressed by their great range of options including a meal perfect for every occasion and the innovation to food pair items with Wells’ Brewpoint beers.
The Tollemache certainly aren’t shy of winning awards, previously being crowned Regional winner at The National Pub & Bar Awards and also won Best Training Programme – Individual Operator at the British Institute of Innkeeping’s National Innovation in Training Awards this week.
