East Midlands Fencing Firm Rank The 9 Most Boujee Past & Present Love Island Contestants Gardens.

The current season of love island has surely been explosive and is slowly coming to an end. Past contestants have gone on to achieve great things from dream brand deals to investing and renovating properties, which many have gone to live in and call their first or even forever home.

Fencing industry leaders, First Fence have researched the most impressively landscaped gardens from past and present love island contestants and have ranked their favourites. From Instagrammable fence backdrops to pitch and put golf courses.

  1. Gemma Owen–There is no denying that current islander, Gemma Owen living in a listed manor house with 42 acres of land, is pretty high on the boujuee scale, which is why her famous dad, Michael Owen’s pad scores the top spot. Gemma is currently coupled up with Luca Bish in season 8 of the show.

The current islander lives with her famous parents and 12 horses at Lower Stoughton Hall in Flintshire Wales. The family have lived in the house since 2001 and their humongous garden even features a putting green.

  1. Jack Keating– Casa amour islander Jack Keating was also part of the current season but unfortunately never made it full time in the villa. He also still lives with his very famous dad, Ronan Keating in their huge renovated, zero-carbon home in London, which features a pool, tennis court and a huge patio area in their garden. The house took 5 years to completely renovate.

Jack splits his time between his dad's house in rural London and his mum, Yvonne Connelly’s house in Malahide Ireland, which is also worth a generous €1.6 million and features a red picket fence and seating area.

  1. Sam Gowland– The property developer appeared on season 3 of the show, before leaving the island on day 23. Sam isn’t short of experience and renovated his first home, shortly following the show, which was put onto the market in 2020. His new ‘dream home’ is currently only in the first stages of being built, but the plans he continues to share on his Instagram account include a hydro pool and top floor night club making his self-built bachelor pad truly boujee.

On the plans, there is a huge patio that extends the entire front and back of the property with two huge gardens with so much landscaping potential.

  1. Oliva and Alex Bowen– Alex and Oliva were runners-up of season 2 of the show and are now married, still going strong and have recently purchased their second home together, which is a huge £1.3 million Essex mansion renovation project with a gigantic pond in the back garden. The renovations took 5 months, and their immaculately landscaped boujee garden includes a stunning BBQ and seating area along with a built-in hot tub and a huge grassed area for their dogs to run around.
  1. Zara McDermottand Sam Thompson – Zara took place in season 4 of Love Island, leaving the show with Adam Collard who has recently returned for season 8.  The couple split just before Valentine’s Day the following year. Zara is now in a long-term relationship with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson. The couple has recently moved out of their Chelsea home to live with family members and in rented accommodation, while their renovations took place.

They hired landscaper ‘Local Luke’ to create their dream garden, the area consists of a huge patio and grassed area with stunning features and fence lighting.

  1. Kady McDermott– The third place, season two islander left the show with Scott Thomas, the couple broke up shortly following the end of the show. Kady purchased her lockdown renovation project with her now ex-boyfriend, Myles Barnett, she has successfully managed to buy him out of his half of the property and continue the renovations by herself.

She has completely transformed the chalet bungalow into a 3-story, 6-bedroom mansion now, worth over £1millon. Her beautifully landscaped garden has a feature wall which is the perfect backdrop for her Instagram snaps, she has a cute little area to enjoy her coffee and admire her hard work and a huge patio seating area with some luxury garden furniture. Not too boujee but summer party ready.

  1. Cara and Nathan– The winners of season 2 are now married and have two children, the couple has recently renovated their ‘forever home’ this is the second house owned by the couple. They launched their Instagram home account alongside their project to show their fans their ‘real life’ and not just another squeaky clean celebrity home account.

Their huge garden, perfect for their kids, features a large, decked area with furniture from Very and some twinkly garden lights all the way around to create a more homely feel. They also have a huge grass space for their kids to run around in.

  1. Dani Dyer- Danny Dyer and Jack Fincham were crowned the winners of season 4, the pair later split in 2018 following multiple huge arguments however, the couple do remain on good terms.

Shortly after their split, Dani rekindled her relationship with her ex Sammy Kimmance, whom she had her child Santiago with.

Dani and Sammy later split following lies and his 42-month jail sentence for scamming pensioners out of £32,000 which meant that she and Santi were going to be living in her brand new home all alone.

Her garden area features a huge patio and grass area, not much has been done to the area yet but there is so much potential for a beautifully boujee landscaped garden, still leaving enough space for the little one to play.

  1. Scott Thomas– Scott came third in season two with fellow islander Kady McDermott, his gorgeous modest house has a gorgeous backyard, with a stunning fenced-off decking area and huge faux grassed area perfect for his Doberman, Juno space to run around.

Tracey Smith, Product Development Administrator, First fence commented “All of this past and present islander’s gardens feature some very aesthetically pleasing fencing choices. When it comes to considering fencing for your garden, design is a huge part of the decision-making process.

whether you are looking for privacy, and security improvements or you are just wanting to add decoration to your garden and give it a more bougie look. The right fencing options can really help you out.

Garden fencing is such an important decorative home decision since it isn’t something you can avoid yourself and others looking at. You’ll most likely be looking for long-term investment and your decision will be something you have to live with for a significant amount of time so, being spontaneous in your decision isn’t advised”

First Fence has put together a complete guide to make sure you are choosing the right garden fencing, which you can view here
