The agency’s image and motion team has been strengthened by the arrival of Ed O’Murphy as a CGI artist and Jaime Tozer, who is on a placement after gaining a master’s degree in photography at Nottingham Trent University.
Rafael Cardoso and Pasha Mardiiants have joined Fluid’s websites and systems team as front-end developers.
Meanwhile the brand and creative team has been bolstered by the arrival of graduate Ben Bayes, a graphic designer who gained his degree at the University of Lincoln.
Fluid, which employs over 50 staff and is based at Darley Abbey Mills, near Derby, is a full-service agency whose operations cover branding and campaigns, graphic and website design, computer-generated imagery, 3D animation and video, photography, copywriting, digital marketing, content management, search and social media – all in-house.
Its client base spans sectors including healthcare, retirement living, property, professional services, education, finance, leisure and hospitality. The agency is in its 20th year and has been boosted by increased business from existing clients and a raft of new wins.
Joint managing director Ed Bowler said: “It’s particularly exciting to be able to give career opportunities to graduates or apprentices such as Liv, Jaime and Ben, and to also welcome experienced professionals Pasha, Rafael, Zukais and Ed. The new team members bring a brilliant blend of energy and experience to Fluid.
“Although it’s a nervous time for a lot of businesses, we stand by a belief that building strong and trusting partnerships with clients, and having a team that really cares, will help us continue to grow and mature in a way that feels both natural and purposeful.”
