NORFOLK HOMEBUILDER INVITES KEY WORKERS TO EXCLUSIVE EVENT THIS WEEKEND

Key workers on the lookout for a new home in Norfolk are invited to Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ exclusive event at its Cringleford Heights development in Cringleford this weekend (Saturday 29th July).

The free event, which will run from 10am to 5:30pm, will give those working within key industries the chance to receive expert advice on how to secure a new home at the development through using the Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme.

The event is being held shortly after Barratt and David Wilson Homes announced the extension of its popular moving scheme for another six months to celebrate the NHS’ 75th birthday on Wednesday 5th July.

As well as being eligible to NHS staff, the scheme will also support workers in Education, The Police Force, Fire Service, MOD, Environmental Service, National Highways, Probation Service, Prison Service and Local Authorities.

Alison Page, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Anglia, said: “This weekend is the perfect opportunity for any key workers considering a move in Norfolk to find out more about the fantastic deal that is available to them.

“We’ve organised for an independent financial adviser to be present on the day, who will be on hand, along with our Sales Advisers, to answer any questions visitors may have about their moving process.

“There is no need to book an appointment to attend, and we look forward to meeting anyone who visits Cringleford Heights during the event.”

Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme originally launched in October 2022, and has helped around 2,000 key workers save money on their new home.

The scheme enables key workers to receive £1,000 as a deposit contribution for every £20,000 of a home’s purchase price. For example, for a home costing £325,000, key workers would qualify for a contribution of £16,250. Not only that, but there is also funding towards flooring, worth up to a further 1% of the value of the home.

Cringleford Heights is located within walking distance from Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, enabling employees to make a short journey to work by foot upon making a move to the development.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ development currently has a selection of three and four bedroom homes available to buy, with prices starting from £332,995.
