UFC Superstar, Khamzet Chimaev, Visits Anoki Restaurant

UFC legend, Khamzat Chimaev visited East Midlands fine dining restaurant Anoki Burton earlier this week as part of a whistle stop tour of the UK.

The Swedish MMA fighter, originally from Russia, who has six million followers on Instagram, dined at Anoki Burton before travelling to Manchester where he took part in a meet and greet with adoring fans.

29-year-old Khamzat is one of the most promising names in UFC and is currently preparing for a fight against Paulo Costa at UFC 294 in Abu Dabi in October.

Anoki’s unique fine dining Indian cuisine has attracted many famous faces to its Derby, Nottingham and Burton restaurants over the past few years.

These include the late fashion icon Vivienne Westwood, England manager Gareth Southgate, former world snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan and cricketing legend Rahul Dravid to name but a few.

Anoki regularly attracts guests from around the world due to its lavishly decorated interiors, reminiscent of an Eastern palace, authentic Indian recipes, and traditional dressed staff.

Commenting on Khamzat Chimaev’s visit to Anoki, owner Naveed Khaliq said:

“We were delighted to welcome Khamzat to our restaurant and were honoured he chose to dine with us. He visited Anoki because his friends believe it’s the best Indian restaurant around.

“Here at Anoki, we are proud that our delicious cuisine and superlative service attracts people from across the globe and would like to wish Khamzat every success for his next fight in October.”

From the vibe in the restaurant, to the wonderful mouthwatering food, it is easy to see why Anoki has won a whole host of awards and accolades from being recognised as the Best Restaurant at the Eat Out Awards to being acknowledged in the top 10 Indian Restaurants in the UK by The Sunday Times.
