BMF Awards Dinner 274

Award for Leicester marketing professional at trade body conference

A marketing professional at a Leicester builders’ merchant has been recognised with an award by national trade body, the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).

Rebecca Range, Head of Marketing at Terratruck Group, was handed the Marketing Excellence Award 2023 at the BMF Annual Members Conference and Awards.

Former Olympic swimmer, Mark Foster, hosted the event and presented Rebecca with the award, which recognises her innovation and creative approach in delivering strategic marketing objectives.

Having joined Terratruck Group in late 2022, Rebecca set about a fast-paced marketing transformation programme focussing on three core areas - clear brand marketing, a differentiated marketing activation programme and excellence through merchandising.

Rebecca’s approach was to build a series of group level initiatives delivering consistent and clear customer messaging reinforcing the group brand cues. This approach not only delivered a quality proposition to customers, but it also supported the group’s commercial engagement with stakeholders.

She said: “From a personal perspective, I am truly thrilled and humbled to receive this award for marketing excellence and it is a great honour to be recognised by such a prestigious trade body as the BMF.

“This award is not only a recognition of my work but also a testament to the hard work and dedication of the wider team.”

Held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, the BMF’s Annual Members Conference and Awards recognises the achievements of individuals and businesses within the builders’ merchants’ industry.

The Marketing Excellence Award 2023 was sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Marketors.

John Newcomb, BMF CEO, said: “Congratulations to Rebecca on the talent and hard work that is recognised with this award.

“BMF membership encompasses the entire building materials distribution industry, and our Annual Conference and Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of suppliers, service members and individuals across the sector.”
