Ribbon cutting

Home buyers clamouring to get on board new waterside development

Developers at a waterside new homes site have officially cut the ribbon on the second and final phase of its city project - with 25 percent of those properties being reserved instantly.

Trent Bridge Quays, which sits in the heart of Nottingham’s sporting heritage district, has released the last 58 homes for sale.

The move signals the final chance for home buyers to get their hands on the pick of the brand-new properties at the site.

Some 95-homes were released in the first phase of the development, all are now completely sold out.  The high-spec homes have appealed to a mix of home buyers including sportspeople drawn to the first-class location.

Trent Bridge Quays, which has been created by Elevate Property Group, commands an enviable position, sitting right on the riverbank with sight of the city ground in one direction for Nottingham Forest fans, and Meadow Lane in the opposite direction for Notts County supporters. Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is also an easy walk for those seeking another top-class sporting venue.

Of the 58 newly released homes, 14 are townhouses, 4 maisonettes and 40 apartments.

David Hofton, Elevate’s sales and marketing director, said: “All homes at Trent Bridge Quays have an EPC rating of B putting them in the top 10 percent of energy efficient homes in the country.

“Townhouses have dedicated EV charging points, while the apartments have the option of secure, gated courtyard car parking and access to EV charging points.”

Elevate Property Group has become renowned for innovative commercial and residential developments across the country. The firm has amassed over 30 years of construction industry expertise including prestige heritage restoration projects, mid-century conversions and contemporary new builds.

Priding themselves on their attention to detail within their quality homes, David said: “The high spec interiors are ‘best in class’ with fully integrated kitchens, Porcelanosa tiles in the bathroom, and quality flooring included throughout.  Many apartments include a balcony or Juliette balcony, and either glimpses of the river or the city skyline.”

The freehold townhouses provide a choice of interior layouts – open-plan or separate accommodation configurations.

Lawns, terraces, balconies and parking with EV chargers to the houses are all standard whilst some also have 146 sq. ft south facing roof terraces.

Historically, Nottingham’s waterside locations have been underused when it comes to housing.

Kerri Bywater, new homes partner at William H Brown, said: “Other cities around the country have been quick to draw on the assets of riverside locations to improve the quality of life for city residents.  Nottingham is catching up with this trend with the creation of the new waterside neighbourhood, and we have found that these city homes with riverside views, such as Trent Bridge Quays, are flying off our books.

“Buyers are keen to embrace the benefits that living in such locations provides on their mental and physical health, especially at Trent Bridge Quays, which boasts some beautiful walks alongside the River Trent to Nottingham Embankment.”

Appealing to a range of buyers, the stunning homes create an enviable street scene both roadside and riverside.   The newly planted promenade along with the riverbank further enhances the location of this development.

The final release of homes includes 16 one-bedroom apartments, 24 two-bedroom apartments, 2 two-bedroom maisonettes, 2 three-bedroom maisonettes, 9 three-bedroom townhouses and 5 four-bedroom townhouses.  Prices range from £206,000 for a one-bed to £440,000 for a four-bedroom townhouse, with build complete properties ready for occupation.
