IWG ADDS IMPRESSIVE NEW REGUS OFFICE IN NOTTINGHAM AS THE DEMAND FOR HYBRID WORKING RISES

IWG ADDS IMPRESSIVE NEW REGUS OFFICE IN NOTTINGHAM AS THE DEMAND FOR HYBRID WORKING RISES

  • Lock House is an impressive 12,000 sq. ft Regus workspace complete with co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms and creative spaces
  • New location is part of the drive to provide top class facilities in a wide variety of locations as hybrid working becomes a reality for more workers
  • This opening follows a partnership agreement with the building owner, who has invested in the IWG platform to create a branded flexible workspace in their building
  • The location comes on the heels of IWG adding 867 new locations globally in 2023.

IWG, the world’s largest provider of hybrid working solutions with brands including Spaces and HQ, is opening a state-of-the-art flexible Regus workspace in Nottingham as the demand for hybrid working rapidly accelerates.

Situated at Lock House, this new Regus location is part of a drive by IWG to meet the sharply rising demand for top class flexible working space as people look to work closer to home. Conveniently located in Nottingham City Centre, the site will include private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces. The site is positioned just a five-minute walk from Nottingham Station and also boasts allocated parking just outside the building.

The addition of IWG’s latest location in Nottingham comes on the heels of the business posting its highest ever quarterly revenue and achieving rapid network growth, adding 867 new locations globally in 2023.

As companies of all sizes adopt hybrid working for the long-term, it is predicted that 30% of all commercial real estate will be flexible workspace by 2030. With IWG, partners are able to capitalise on this fast-growing sector, while being supported by IWG’s unparalleled experience. Hybrid working offers companies a significantly lower cost base, with an average saving of £9,000 per employeei

Lock House will provide convenient access to Nottingham Station and will add to IWG’s growing network in the area, being in close proximity to IWG’s City Gate East Nottingham site.

The new Regus location will provide high-quality facilities including private offices and meeting rooms. By bringing a high-quality office space to the area, IWG is enabling local people to experience living in a ’15-minute’ city, allowing workers to work close to their homes without commuting far from where they live. The site is expected to open towards the end of this year.

IWG is the world’s leading provider of flexible workspace – featuring almost 4,000 locations in more than 120 countries with members able to access all of the locations and business services via the IWG app.

As the ongoing shift towards hybrid working accelerates, conventional office occupancy will continue to fall as businesses require less traditional space and turn to flexible workspace instead. In 2023, IWG welcomed hundreds of new partner locations and counts 83 per cent of Fortune 500 companies among its customer base.

Mark Dixon, CEO & Founder of IWG, commented: “We are establishing a stronger footprint in Nottingham with this latest opening. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal. We are very pleased to work with our partners to develop the Regus brand under a management agreement that will add a cutting-edge workspace to the newly refurbished building.”

“Our opening in Nottingham comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”
