Record Month for Flex Officer Operator Cubo

The explosion in demand for high quality flex office space continues for leading operator Cubo who sold an unprecedented number of desks in April.

The company broke their own month-on-month record by completing more than 600 new desk deals in April.

Cubo, which is based in the East Midlands, but has reach across the whole of the UK, says it is not surprised at April’s staggering numbers and see this as a growing and reliable pattern.

Cubo was founded by property investors Marc and Becky Brough in March 2020 and has rapidly established itself as the UK’s leading provider of high-end flex office and co-working space, with 11 workspaces across the UK.

Ambitious plans are underway to almost double its footprint nationally, a growth strategy backed by investment firm Literacy Capital plc.

Second workspaces have been launched in Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham and Derby and a new workspace in Glasgow is set to open on 1 June. Other new locations are set to be announced shortly.

Cubo continues to transform the traditional serviced office model, providing an experience-led lifestyle offer to meet the changing needs of businesses – from hot desking to a designated desk, private office, or entire floor, all available on flexible terms.

It offers spaces that combine the traditional requirements of functionality with a new focus on enhancing member experience.

Member benefits include large communal spaces, private areas, break-out spaces, kitchens, an inclusive barista service with beer on tap, along with a programme of free networking events. Cubo members can also take advantage of an experienced front of house team.

As a result, Cubo is the location of choice for a growing number of SMEs, tech companies and corporate companies who are looking for the best Grade A space in each location.

Commenting on the company’s dynamic growth, Marc Brough, CEO of Cubo, said:

“We are delighted, but not completely surprised at these latest figures - a combination of controlling the best in class, Grade A locations in the UK’s top performing cities, together with an unbelievable sales and operation team, is now delivering the level of results which I feel confident will outperform all other operators on a like-for-like basis.

“In addition, our new site in Glasgow and second sites in Derby, Birmingham and Leeds are all set to hit full occupancy within weeks of each site opening. This is a clear indication that the occupier market remains fixed on quality of space.”
