Blaby District Council has announced plans for a new residential community named Hayes Gardens in Leicestershire, proposing the construction of up to 800 homes on a 141-acre (57-hectare) area to the east of Enderby.

Santander UK owns the majority of the land earmarked for development, with the banking firm having reorganised its Carlton Park office complex, resulting in excess land suitable for residential purposes.
