Next set of homes approved at Leicestershire’s newest village

The developer of Leicestershire’s newest village, Broadnook, is on the cusp of receiving approval for more than 150 homes.

Once completed, the wider project, Broadnook, will have 1,950 houses, along with amenities like a primary school, retirement village, GP surgery, supermarket, and employment areas.

Davidsons Homes obtained approval to commence construction on the first phase of 107 homes last year.

Cora Homes is now set to construct 154 residences on an additional plot within the development, with the application slated to undergo review by Charnwood Borough Council’s plans committee on Thursday evening, May 16th.

According to a report prepared for committee members, planning officers have proposed conditional approval for the application.
