Historic ironmongery supplier expands UK base amid soaring demand

An architectural ironmongery, with sites in Gloucestershire and Manchester, is expanding its UK operations as it aims to boost capacity and become more sustainable.

Bolton-based Till & Whitehead, which was established in 1876, is extending its facility in Longborough, Gloucestershire, by a third in response to growing demand.

The site is responsible for stocking and distributing fasteners and consumables for the window trade. It stocks 5,000 different product lines, designed to help window fabricators and installers manufacture and install windows.

The company is making the investment after securing a seven-figure funding package from Lloyds Bank.
