£13m office refurbishment under way at Bruntwood SciTech's King’s House in Manchester

Work is under way on a £13m refurbishment of a landmark conservation area office block above two well-known restaurants.

Bruntwood SciTech is refurbishing King’s House, in the St Mary’s Parsonage regeneration area on King Street West. The building is also home to San Carlo restaurant and to Korean restaurant, Koreana, both of which will remain open during the works.

The refurbishment aims to bring new modern amenities into the 38,000 sq ft historic building as Bruntwood SciTech looks to promote the area as an office destination.

When the work is complete, the five-storey building will include 12 workspaces for teams of 12 to 110. It will also include a lounge and breakout spaces, while tenants will be able to access facilities at the
