The Memory Tree at the hospice

Commemorate your loved one on the Memory Tree this Father’s Day

Those looking ahead to Father's Day with sadness, can honour special loved ones lost by adding their names to the Memory Tree at Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

Located in the hospice’s welcoming reception area on Kettering Road, Northampton, the Memory Tree stands as a poignant symbol of remembrance and love.

Each metal leaf on the tree, carefully inscribed with a name or message, represents a cherished memory and helps to keep the spirits of lost loved ones alive.

This touching tribute not only honours those who have passed but also supports the vital palliative care services the hospice provides throughout Northamptonshire.

Anita Frith, Director of Income Generation and Communications, said: “As Father’s Day approaches, many of us feel a pang of sadness for the fathers and father figures we’ve lost. Cynthia Spencer Hospice invites you to transform this grief into a living tribute by engraving their names on the Memory Tree.

“The tree is far more than a mere symbol; it is a testament to the lasting strength of love and memory.

“Each leaf weaves into a beautiful tapestry of remembrance, demonstrating our collective resilience and unity. When you choose to commemorate someone special on our Memory Tree, you do more than preserve their legacy—you support a beacon of life and growth that extends far beyond our walls.

“This Father’s Day, let your love take root in the Memory Tree at Cynthia Spencer Hospice, creating a lasting legacy that nurtures both memory and the invaluable care we provide.”

Choosing to dedicate a leaf is a unique and meaningful way to keep your loved one’s memory alive. With bronze leaves available for a monthly contribution of just £7, and silver and gold leaves offered at £19.75 and £42 respectively, there are options to suit different wishes and means.

Alternatively, supporters can opt for an annual payment, ensuring their named leaf remains part of this stunning memorial for a full year or more.
