Over 240-home development approved in Lincolnshire

Two housing developments consisting of 243 homes have been approved by councillors and will be built on farmland in a Lincolnshire village called Barrowby.

The first development includes 175 homes ranging from one to five bedrooms, along with access points, open spaces, and outline permission for a community hub.

The second development consists of 67 homes, also with one to five bedrooms, car access from Reedings Road and Owen Way, a public open space, and related infrastructure.

Developers Alison Homes and Persimmon Homes will build on 10.9 hectares of land, designated for housing in the local plan.

The projects will offer up to 75 affordable housing units, including six shared-ownership homes, 48 affordable rent properties, and 21 first-ownership homes.
