Plans submitted for 300-acre industrial and manufacturing park at Goole Freeport

Yorkshire developer HBD and St John's College Cambridge have proposed a large scale industrial and manufacturing park at Goole Freeport South.

The partners are hoping to deliver 5.5million sqft of space adjacent across 300 acres of the tax site, which was designated by the Government earlier this year. A decision is now due in September this year, with the developers saying the site benefits from close access to Goole Docks and able to accommodate buildings from 40,000 to 1,000,000 sqft.

The project is the latest for HBD, part of Henry Boot, which has a current committed industrial and logistics pipeline of 6.6million sqft across the UK. It has delivered 4.4million sqft in the last five years.
