A property group has expanded its portfolio with the £7.72 million acquisition of an industrial site in the Black Country.

Clearbell Property Partners has bought Parkside Industrial Estate in Wolverhampton, a site consisting of 11 units covering around 100,000 sq ft.

The estate, in Hickman Avenue east of the city centre, is currently let out to four tenants and is 94 per cent occupied.

The firm, which is run by private equity real estate fund management and advisory business Clearbell Capital, said it now planned to carry out a comprehensive programme of upgrades.

This will include reroofing some units, installing photovoltaic panels, expanding the yard areas, upgrading signage and improving the general appearance of the estate.
