KH Hair in Arnold is celebrating as newly-qualified stylist, Amelia Krasinski, is chosen as the latest member of the salon group’s award-winning Creative Team.
19-year-old Amelia’s talent caught the attention of the team, which has been featured nationally and internationally in hair and lifestyle magazines and has represented the brand at fashion shows and photo shoots from London to L.A for almost 30 years.
Amelia, who joined the salon as a 15-year-old Saturday employee before completing a three-year apprenticeship, says she is super excited to be joining the team. “I can’t wait to work with everyone, expand my knowledge of techniques and, hopefully, bring my own skills to the team too!” she says.
“I’m really looking forward to getting involved with the photoshoots and getting to be a bit more creative outside the salon.”
2024 has been an exciting year for Amelia. In January she was awarded a place on The Fellowship for British Hairdressing's ‘Project Colour’ mentoring programme, providing her with the opportunity to learn and grow through education and collaboration with the industry’s leading colour stars. Then, in June, she took to the stage at KH Hair’s annual award ceremony to collect the Group’s Rising Star Award.
Already working hands on with the Creative Team, she has recently been involved in shooting a new collection in partnership with Wella Professionals which will showcase the beauty of the brand’s ‘Illumina’ colour product.
KH Hair's managing director, Darren Messias, is instrumental in securing opportunities for the KH Hair Creative and Colour Teams to showcase their work to peers across the country. Commenting on Amelia’s good news, he says: “We are absolutely delighted for her after all the hard work and passion she has shown since joining KH Hair at such a young age.
