Amelia and her model with the ClubStar 2025 judges

Nottingham hair stylist chosen for top UK creative team

KH Hair is celebrating after one of its young stylists earns her place on one of the industry's most coveted creative teams.

19-year-old Amelia Krasinski, who works at KH Hair in Arnold, Nottingham, was chosen from hundreds of hopefuls across the UK to become one of only eight members of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing’s ClubStar Art Team for 2025, following a live audition at ALFAPARF Milano in London.

The ClubStar Art Team takes the very best emerging talent in the Fellowship, aged under 25, and provides an exciting opportunity for those chosen to take part in stage presentations and attend incredible monthly mentoring days in London.

Amelia, who joined the salon as a 15-year-old Saturday employee before completing a three-year apprenticeship, says she is really happy to have made it onto the Team. “Being able to explore more of the creative side of hairdressing is what I enjoy the most,” she says. “Being mentored by some of the most amazing hairdressers in the industry is so exciting and I can’t wait to see what next year brings.”

For her 10-minute audition, Amelia was required to produce a live model and mood board representing her artistic direction to a panel of expert industry judges and, luckily, she didn’t have to wait long before being notified of her success.

It’s been a busy and rewarding year for Amelia. In January she won a place on the Fellowship’s ‘Project Colour’ mentoring programme, and in June, she was named 2024 ‘Rising Star’ at KH Hair Group’s annual award ceremony. 2025 will start off just as busy with Amelia travelling back to London for a Projects Induction Day on Monday 13 January where she will meet her fellow teammates and project leader, Josh Goldsworthy, 2023 and 2024 winner of the Salon Stylist of the Year Award at THE CUT – an annual award ceremony hosted by HAIR Magazine.

Darren Messias, managing director of KH Hair, says everyone at the Group is absolutely delighted for Amelia. “It’s very much deserved after all her hard work and commitment,” he says. “Being part of the Fellowship’s ClubStar Team is a fantastic opportunity, and she will gain so much knowledge, experience and confidence from her time on it. We can’t wait to see her journey.”
