Two Chimps Coffee Took Home Two Awards at this Year’s Rutland & Stamford Mercury Awards
Two Chimps Coffee is thrilled to announce that they have won two awards at this year’s Rutland & Stamford Mercury Awards, winning Environmental Champion of the year and the highly-coveted Small Business of the Year award.
“We are incredibly proud of our team and all the hard work and dedication to making Two Chimps the best it can be,” Said Two Chimps Co-Founder Andy Cross.
“Myself and Laura (Co-Founder) had a fantastic time at the awards ceremony at the Rutland Hall Hotel,” continues Andy, “and it was great to meet some new people and catch up with some familiar faces on the night too!”
“We didn’t expect to win anything, let alone two awards in such competitive categories, and we’d like to congratulate all the other finalists and winners, and thank the judges and organisers, for making such a memorable event for myself and Laura and the whole Two Chimps team.”
2024 marked the 19th anniversary of the awards, making the ceremony one of the longest-established events of its kind across Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings.
Since the beginning, the awards have honoured business excellence and shone a light on the entrepreneurial spirit of the area; allowing all attendees to reflect on their achievements over the previous 12 months.
“When we launched in 2016, we knew that climate change, sustainability and helping our local communities were our core values,” says Andy “We’re super proud to win these awards and it’s given us the added boost of knowing that myself and Laura and the whole team are moving forward in the right direction.”
