Corby-based See Limited has won the prestigious Green Award at this year’s NNBN Awards, which recognise and celebrate innovative and enterprising businesses, charities and organisations within Northamptonshire.
The group holding company, responsible for three businesses involved in the supply, distribution and fabrication of wood veneer and decorative laminate panels, was recognised in a night of celebration at the Mercure Hotel Northampton for their work in establishing four key initiatives to help contribute to the global effort to fight against climate change.
This includes the implementation of an Annual Carbon Footprint Report; the formation of an internal team to focus on implementing initiatives to further reduce CO₂ emissions year-on-year; a partnership with More Trees to plant trees for every order of Pura® NFC –weatherproof cladding for home exteriors; plus signing up to Science Based Targets to demonstrate their commitment to adopting best practice in sustainability.
Chosen from hundreds of entries to make the final five within their category, the company was up against stiff competition from the likes of Hilton Northampton and runner up Wicksteed Park, to clinch the title.

The NNBN Award win marks the start of awards season for See Limited, with the company also being recognised as a finalist in the Building Innovation Awards, National Building & Construction Awards, Northamptonshire Business Awards and the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards which take place throughout October and November.
