NHS office block to be converted into 128 'co-living' flats

A former NHS office building in West Bromwich is poised for a transformation into over 120 flats. Kingston House, previously utilised as offices for NHS commissioning services, is set to be converted into 128 flats under plans proposed by TheStudios.

These compact studio flats, marketed as 'co-living accommodation', range from just over 15 to 27 square metres and come equipped with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. Shared amenities include kitchens, a communal lounge and workspace, a gym, a cinema room, and an outdoor terrace.

The existing structure would be partially extended to accommodate additional rooms, reducing the current 95-space car park to 56 spaces. The office space, spanning 43,000 square feet, was listed on the market for nearly £3m in 2023.
