South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) has reached agreements with three developers, marking a step forward in transforming a brownfield site in Stamford.

Morris Homes, Inspired Villages, and Burghley Land have signed contracts for the St Martin’s Park project on the former Cummins site.

SKDC bought the Cummins site in 2018, and along with adjoining land from the Burghley House Preservation Trust, it forms the 14.7-hectare development area.

The project will include a commercial zone, a mixed-use area, an integrated retirement community and various residential properties, including affordable housing, along with green and open spaces.
