British textile brand Tori Murphy has unveiled its first standalone showroom, set within the historic Belvoir Castle’s Retail Village at the Engine Yard.
The 900 sq ft space, nestled in one of England’s most picturesque settings, serves as the perfect backdrop for a brand renowned for its refined textiles and commitment to British craftsmanship.
Known for blending heritage with contemporary elegance, Tori Murphy's collections include exquisite fabrics, home accessories, and their award-winning made-to-measure curtains and blinds—offered with an impressive 14-day delivery guarantee.
The new showroom invites visitors to explore the full range of the brand’s English fabrics, available by the metre, making it an ideal destination for interior designers and enthusiasts seeking distinctive British charm. It also provides bespoke design and installation services tailored for trade professionals aiming to create unique, modern interiors with a timeless touch.
More than just a retail space, the showroom will double as an interactive design studio, hosting workshops and cookery demonstrations in its beautiful, custom-built kitchen.
Commenting on the launch, Tori Murphy shared: “The Vale of Belvoir is a wonderful location for us. Set in the idyllic English countryside within the grounds of Belvoir Castle, it’s a beautiful destination spot with our neighbours including an animal park, a farm shop stocked with local produce, and the fantastic Belvoir Bistro. After years of searching, we feel we’ve found the perfect home for our first showroom.”
Carefully restored from Victorian buildings and surrounded by woodland, The Engine Yard is now at full occupancy and celebrates the best of British and country living all year round, offering artisan shopping and delicious local food.
Emma Manners, The Duchess of Rutland said: “We are so excited that the wonderful Tori Murphy is joining us at Belvoir Retail Village. It’s an honour that she has chosen to bring her HQ and showroom here and to have somebody with so much passion, drive and expertise in interiors. She has got the most wonderful eye for design and I know everyone will love what they see. The most fabulous fabrics and British design.”
