National auction house John Pye & Sons Ltd has appointed Liz Fuge as Director of Business Development, to deliver a consistent, strategic and collaborative sales approach across each of its divisions.
In this newly created role, Liz will head up the business development function for John Pye, incorporating it into the heart of the business and integrating its Retail, Luxury, Vehicles, Business Assets, Trade and Property teams.
Liz Fuge brings a wealth of experience from a long career in corporate banking, where she held senior roles in some of the UK’s largest banks, including Lloyds and NatWest. Her most recent role, which she held for seven years before joining John Pye, was as Deputy Head of Corporate Banking for HSBC in the East Midlands.
On her appointment Liz said: “John Pye is a great family business and I so admire everything the Pye family has achieved to date. This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver impact and achieve sustained success by creating a cohesive business development function that generates new opportunities from prospective customers, while ensuring a consistent, strategic and collaborative approach for our existing clients across all parts of the business.”
Liz joined the business in November with the remit to drive the strategic direction of Business Development activity across all markets and service lines from business assets to luxury and retail. With her team she hopes to deliver sustainable revenue growth, expand margins and achieve market diversification across all the whole business.
