DLP Planning Ltd is a part of the DLP Consulting Group, a multidisciplinary consultancy focussing on all aspects of planning, master planning, architecture, transportation, sustainability, ecology and landscape design related to development and the built environment. Having been formed in 1991, DLP Planning Ltd has grown into one of the largest independent town planning consultancies in the UK with ten offices nationwide. We specialise in providing town planning and development advice to a broad range of private and public sector clients throughout the UK and abroad.

The East Midlands office of DLP Planning Ltd was opened in 2013 and has evolved into a vibrant city centre-based practice providing planning and development advice to clients in Nottingham and the wider East Midlands region. The team offer an extensive local knowledge and provide a commercial minded approach to all aspects of the planning process.

DLP Consulting Group Ltd has recently acquired multi-disciplinary CASS Associates (offering planning, architecture, master planning and landscape design), which merged with the previous BE1 Architects team and operate under the name of CASS from offices in London, Liverpool, Leeds and Bedford. Within DLP Consulting Group there are a number of specialist teams which deal with particular elements of town planning, for example:  Strategic Planning Research Unit (SPRU) which deals with demographic and socio/economic based work, the Sustainable Development and Delivery team (SDD) which encompasses transport and travel planning, highway design, flood risk assessment and environmental assessment,  the Heritage Design team and most recently created an Environmental Planning team which deal with matters such as biodiversity net gain.
