Cawleys, a SUEZ recycling and recovery UK subsidiary is proud to announce its continued support for Keech Hospice through this year’s Christmas Tree Recycling scheme, which saw the collection of over 300 used Christmas trees from businesses and households across Luton last week.
Local residents were offered a sustainable recycling service for their real Christmas trees in exchange for a donation to Keech Hospice, helping fund specialist end-of-life care for people of all ages across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes, as well as their families.
Together, the initiative successfully raised over £9,000 to support the charity’s essential services.
All trees were responsibly recycled and chipped, with the resulting material reused as mulch providing an environmentally conscious and locally beneficial end to the festive season.

Their time and resources helped ensure the successful collection and recycling of hundreds of trees across the Luton area, raising vital funds for Keech Hospice. With around 70% of our funding coming from our local community, partnerships like this are essential to the care we provide for patients and families.”
