Gi Group has hosted a charity golf day in support of The Chloe Smail Foundation, bringing together some of the region’s biggest businesses for an important cause. The event helped raise funds for the foundation’s work with children and young people, supporting access to alternative and holistic education that nurtures mental health, resilience, and overall wellbeing. It is a cause close to the recruiter’s heart having worked with the charity founders for many years.
Held at Lutterworth Golf Club in Rugby, the event brought together some of the region’s biggest employers including Northampton-based Walkerpack and Tamworth-based Moonpig for a full day of golf and fundraising activities. A £10,000 hole-in-one challenge on the ninth hole brought some friendly competition to the day, before guests came together for an evening charity auction and networking dinner.
As of 07/09/2026, the event has raised £3,375, surpassing its target by an impressive 35% and demonstrating the generosity and commitment of everyone involved.
