Isabella Wardle is recognised for her outstanding contribution at one of the region’s leading celebrations of young talent
MHR, the global HR, payroll and finance company, has been recognised for the award at this year’s Insider Media Midlands Young Professionals Awards, which celebrate rising talent across the region. The win reflects the contribution of MHR’s young professionals and the company’s investment in developing skilled talent.
Isabella Wardle, Content Specialist, was awarded the Young Marketing and Media Professional of the Year Award. She was recognised for her work in customer engagement, turning client successes into powerful content to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Alongside this, MHR was shortlisted for four further awards:
- Young Apprentice of the Year – William Witten, Apprentice Software Tester Recognised for his work improving software reliability and supporting high-quality releases to improve satisfaction for customers.
- Young Business Development Professional of the Year – Josh Newnham, Sales Development Representative. Awarded for his consistent high performance and help to secure over £1 million in Total Contract Value through data-led prospecting and relationship-building.
- Young HR/Recruitment Professional of the Year – Chess Norwood, HR Admin Lead. Awarded for her work in improving employee experience and retention through strategic HR initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
- Young Professional Team of the Year – Internal Recruitment Team. The team was awarded for their work in building industry leading recruitment practices at MHR, using virtual interviews, targeted employer-brand campaigns, and a refined Employee Value Proposition, improving time-to-hire.
These achievements highlight the contribution that early-career employees are already making to delivery, innovation and performance across MHR.
Anton Roe, CEO at MHR, who joined the company himself 30 years ago on a Youth Training Scheme said:
