Professionals from across Nottingham will come together to deliver a first-of-its-kind musical performance at the historic St Mary’s Church in the heart of the Lace Market to help raise funds for The Yalu Collective.
The inaugural ‘Lace Market Proms’ will take place on Tuesday 17th November, with over 15 performers coming from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Those attending the concert will be treated to music from classical to contemporary, with solos, ensembles and a choir all taking part.
For 2026, the event will be raising money for The Yalu Collective, which creates educational opportunities for communities in Sri Lanka and other developing countries that do not have the same access to facilities, resources and opportunities.
“What started off as a small idea over a drink amongst friends has turned into a genuinely exciting event for Nottingham,” said Ashley Walters, Senior Land & Development Manager at Stagfield and the event’s founder.
“We’ve assembled a talented group of performers spanning various professional services across Nottingham, and we’re pleased to share that 24/Three has committed as our headline sponsor for the inaugural concert.
Confirmed performances include:
• Joey Silva – Stephen George + Partners LLP
• Aimee Hudson-Brown – Marrons
• Daniel Draper – UTC Derby Pride Park

• Ivan Tomasevic – Franklin Ellis
• Mark Tomlinson – FHP

“It’s a pleasure to have been asked to take part in this event,” said Victoria Green, Co-owner, Sustainable Interior Design & Heritage Regeneration Consultant at Spenbeck. “The professional network in Nottingham is fortunate to have many gifted musicians who are delighted to give their time to make the event extra special, while supporting such a worthy charity in the most stunning of surroundings.
“St Mary’s Church has always been a cornerstone of the local community, both in its beautiful physical presence and in its celebration of coming together, so what better place to bring together those who want to give something back through an evening bursting with a rich variety of musical entertainment?”
The event is being supported by East-Midlands based architectural practice 24/Three as headline sponsor.
“We’re incredibly excited to be working together on the Lace Market Proms, our second fundraising event for The Yalu Collective and hopefully the start of something we can make an annual tradition,” said Sheleendra Fernando, Managing Director of 24/Three. “More than anything, it is an opportunity to bring people together, enjoy a brilliant evening and raise money for something that can have a genuine impact.”
Eden PR, headquartered in the Lace Market, is providing communications support around the event.
“We’re really proud to be supporting the first Lace Market Proms that celebrates Nottingham’s community spirit to raise important funds that make a meaningful difference for The Yalu Collective. We love to be involved with projects that bring people together in person and especially enjoy arts-focused events like this one. We’re sure it will be the first of many successful Lace Market Proms,” said Emily Winsor-Russell, Director & Head of New Business at Eden PR.
Doors open at 6pm, with those in attendance able to network and connect before, during and after the performances.
