Ruddington-headquartered HR, payroll and finance software provider MHR has been recognised nationally after winning at the British Training Awards 2026 for its innovative employee development programme, People First Experts.
The British Training Awards celebrate organisations that are making an outstanding contribution to learning and development. This year's awards attracted a record 423 entries from organisations across the UK, with winners announced at a ceremony in Covent Garden, London.
MHR received the award for People First Experts, a programme designed to equip consultants, project managers and other customer-facing colleagues with the deep product expertise needed to support organisations using the company's cloud-based People First platform.
Developed by MHR's Learning & Development, Content and Product teams, the programme combines digital learning, virtual classrooms, software simulations and practical workplace experience to help colleagues build genuine expertise while keeping their knowledge up to date as the platform evolves.
The programme has already delivered measurable business benefits, including halving consultant upskilling time from three months to six weeks, reducing routine product queries reaching specialist teams and achieving an average learner satisfaction score of 4.5 out of 5.
