Derbion to welcome premium fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger

Derby’s best-loved shopping destination, Derbion, has announced that premium fashion and lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger is set to open a new store in the centre.

Offering the latest in contemporary men’s and women’s fashion, shoes and accessories, the new 3,000 sq ft store will be located on Level 2. Work to transform the space will begin in early May and the store plans to open its doors for the first time in June.

The store will showcase Tommy Hilfiger’s spring/summer 2021 clothing, accessories, footwear and underwear collections for men and women, which tap into the pioneering spirit of modern America, celebrating the brand’s nautical and utility heritage with a modern twist.

The impressive new store will reflect Tommy Hilfiger's global store design concept, which fuses the brand's heritage and DNA with clean, modern finishes and a bright, airy aesthetic. The design concept will take reference from the nautical lifestyle, one of Tommy's long-time sources of inspiration. This theme will be reflected in walnut accents, minimalist white lacquered details and customized polished steel elements. Additional design elements will include a digital screen to display campaign videos, light oak flooring, custom TH jacquard and chevron patterned rugs, mid-century light fixtures, and pops of the brand’s red, white and blue signature colours.

Building on Tommy Hilfiger’s ambitious sustainability mission to create fashion that ‘Wastes Nothing and Welcomes All’ on their own terms, the brand has seamlessly fused its online and physical retail destinations. The store will therefore offer a click & collect service, enabling consumers to order products on tommy.com and then collect in-store. The new retailer will offer additional services including e-commerce returns in-store; in-store shopping with at-home delivery; plus a find-in-store feature, enabling consumers to identify the nearest store, check stock levels and geo-locate any product.

Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, commented: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Tommy Hilfiger to Derbion, and once again extending our range of men’s and womenswear at the centre. The store is the latest in a line of high-profile fashion store openings including BOSS, Hobbs and Whistles.

“It’s a sign of confidence in Derbion that an internationally renowned brand such as Tommy Hilfiger has chosen the centre as its next location, and we look forward to the store opening its doors in June. Our team is continually working with new and existing retailers to bring exciting brands to the city and we look forward to announcing more new arrivals soon.”
