Moving Forward Brand New Role

Leading transport technology firm Forward Solutions has expanded its team, welcoming Connor Scotece in a new project management role at its Nottingham headquarters.

Forward Solutions is one of the longest-established freight software development companies, providing an end-to-end solution for a wide range of operators in the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US. The company provides IT systems for leading multimodal players across air freight, sea freight, road freight and rail freight.

Connor joins after seven years in project management, having previously worked as a Project Co-ordinator at Ideagen, a software solutions organisation.

He started his career as a Project Administrator at Far-UK, working his way up to Project Management at Frasers Group before moving to Ideagen and then Forward Solutions.

His main role will be supporting Forward Solution’s Customer Success Managers, a team which has doubled in size over the past six month, helping onboard both new and existing customers onto the latest software and innovations.

As a part of this, Connor will be optimising processes and solutions, helping move the business forward, both at a project level and an organisational level too.

Forward Solutions’ core product is Forward Office a flexible freight management software solution (FMS) which is continually strengthened.  At the centre of Forward Office is Forward Core, which is supported by a suite of six additional products which can all be used independently.

Our customer base continues to expand with new businesses seeing the benefits of using the latest technologies to improve performance, communication and efficiencies.”

Already this year Forward Solutions has seen a 15 percent growth in new business, as the logistics and transport industry looks to utilise new technology to power up its supply chain.

In his spare time, Connor can be seen on the pitch playing football, and has also played for Nottingham Forest Academy before he started at the University of Nottingham.
