A new office building and laboratories could be developed in Birmingham which would create at least 40 jobs.
Metalor Technologies have submitted plans to build a 22,000 sq ft premises for analysis and R&D work on Longbridge Business Park.
Metalor Technologies, which is headquartered in Switzerland and has manufacturing facilities all over the world, processes and refines precious metals.
This investment worth £15 million will see a new precious metals facility being constructed, focusing on decorative and technical applications serving industries such as automotive, aerospace and medical.
