Cornish boutique hotel sold to private investors after 22 years

A clifftop hotel in Truro has been sold to a private investor group for an undisclosed sum. Driftwood Hotel has been owned by Paul and Fiona Robinson for the past 22 years and went up for sale when they decided to retire.

The New-England inspired property is perched along the South West Coastal Path and has sea views over Gerrans Bay. It has 14 rooms, a three AA rosette restaurant and a three-bedroom owner’s house, along with grounds of around five acres that lead down to a private beach.
